Mary Ann Teshima

I grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the youngest of five. After college, I spent a year volunteering through the Congregation of Holy Cross (a religious order). I stayed in California for several years, during which time I met my husband and we began our family. We moved back to Wisconsin in 1992 and have lived in Manitowoc since that time.

Education

I was educated by Benedictine sisters at St. Patrick’s grade school and Regis High School. In fact, the priory was about a block away from our house, and my brothers used to serve Mass at the priory. I majored in Theology and English Literature at the University of Notre Dame.
