Roncalli High School, part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, is pleased to share senior Grace Mueller signed her national letter of intent with the University of Minnesota Duluth Nov. 8.
Mueller, daughter of Todd and Natalee Mueller, will be participating in volleyball at the University of Minnesota Duluth after graduating from Roncalli High School in spring 2024. Mueller has been a student-athlete all four years of high school. She has played volleyball eight years total, including two club seasons; played basketball five years, two in high school; and ran track & field three years.
“Grace is a versatile athlete who has a passion for volleyball that is evident. She puts forth the effort during each match and has worked hard this season,” said Nathan Kaderabek, athletic director for Roncalli Catholic Schools. “As she continues with her schooling and athletic career, we know she will remain dedicated to putting her best foot forward. We wish Grace the best of luck as she continues her athletic career at the University of Minnesota Duluth.”
In conference this year, Mueller is No. 1 in kills, No. 3 in hitting percentage (0.309), No. 3 in solo blocks, No. 5 in total blocks (only outside hitter in top 5), and 1st team all-conference. Mueller also was a 2022 state qualifier in the high jump and holds the school record in the high jump at 5’ 4”.
Mueller plans to pursue degrees in English and second education at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
