Roncalli Catholic Schools receives monetary donation from Pizza Garden

Following the success of the 39th Annual Roncalli Pierside Auction, Roncalli Catholic Schools has been the recipient of a generous donation from Pizza Garden.

During the auction, bidders had the opportunity to bid on the “Pizza ‘Dough’ of a Deal” package, donated by Pizza Garden, during the live auction. Nick Bohman was the high bidder and was awarded the package, which included creating a specialty pizza for the month of May. Pizza Garden served the Jet Fuel Pizza during May and allocated 10% of the sales of that particular pizza to Roncalli Catholic Schools. Pizza Garden sold more than $2,000 worth of that pizza, earning $233.85 for Roncalli Catholic Schools. Dan Diederichs and Steve Diederichs, co-owners of Pizza Garden, generously matched that amount to double the donation for a total of $467.70!
