Roncalli Campus/Community Ministry seeks to form intentional, missionary disciples by mentoring students in developing both personal and communal relationships with Jesus Christ. By experiencing Sacraments, prayer, service and Catholic formation, Roncalli students are challenged to open their hearts to the gift of faith: to discover, follow and worship Jesus, thereby sharing Jesus as missionary disciples.
Sacraments and Liturgy
By experiencing the celebration of Sacraments, students and families are one with the universal Church and the person of Jesus Christ whom they encounter in the Sacraments.
Prayer Opportunities
Prayer is a way of life within the Roncalli Community, in a variety of ways.
Retreats
Time to ponder, reflect and pray as a class community, with the goal of nurturing personal and communal relationships with Jesus, strengthening the call to become disciples who love like Jesus. Retreat experiences are currently held during the school day. A future dream: campus/community ministry will host intense Mornings of Reflection for small groups of students. Each small group will have a mentor, who will gather the students and accompany the small group throughout the school year, building relationships, and unfolding the mystery of being disciples of Jesus.
Lasallian Youth Service
Lasallian Youth offers opportunities for Roncalli students as well as all high school students and families from our local Churches to discover the fullness of Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life in the ways of faith and service. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, all are invited to share their gifts and talents with others both near and far, thereby fulfilling the vocational call of one’s baptism, to love God and love neighbor. When mission/service projects are completed, all who gave of their hearts simply say, “we have joyfully done our duty as disciples of the Lord!” The following are just some of the partnerships touched by the lives of those in Lasallian Youth:
We would enjoy hearing from you!
