Roncalli High School announces National Honor Society inductees

Roncalli High School, part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, recently inducted 19 students into the National Honor Society. National Honor Society recognizes students who have demonstrated superior qualities of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

At the ceremony, senior Ethan Isselmann, president, discussed leadership; senior Ryan Jacoby, vice president, discussed scholarship; senior Kaitlyn Freis, secretary, discussed service; and senior Joseph Witczak, treasurer, discussed character. Mr. Steve Waak, Roncalli High School English teacher, served as guest speaker. Waak has taught English at Roncalli for 23 years.

National Honor Society requirements are a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and two semesters at Roncalli High School. The following students, all juniors, except for one student noted as a senior, were inducted:
